The folks at Yellow River Farms know all about it too. Bill Scherf has been growing vegetables practically all of his life. Starke County fresh sweet corn, green beans, potatoes, cabbage, pickles, watermelon, canteloupe, pumpkins...and the list goes on and on.

Bill and Gina Scherf, Rose Ann Eichelberg and the late Wayne Eichelberg opened Yellow River Farms on
HIghway 8, along the banks of the Yellow River, 4 miles east of Knox, IN in 1990 and have been providing the best in plants, flowers and farm fresh vegetables for the folks in Starke County and the surrounding areas ever since. Joined now by sons, Evan and Ryan the family is busier than ever on the farm, growing the best for their customers.
